What does this fault code mean?
The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) has found that its configuration for the driver's adaptive force limiter is incorrect. The code is stored when the fault has persisted for a while. The software stored in the module then does not match the equipment fitted in the car.
Possible causes
- The module's software does not match the car's fitted equipment
What you can do
- 1Read and note the code, clear it, and see whether it returns
- 2Have a workshop check whether the driver's force limiter should actually be connected in this car
- 3Have a workshop check that the module configuration matches the vehicle's equipment and correct it if needed
- 4Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop check it
Symptoms you may notice3
- The SRS warning light comes on or behaves abnormally
- An SRS warning message is shown
- A warning symbol and a text message are shown
