What you can do
- 1Read the code, clear it, and see whether it returns
- 2Have a workshop check the connectors at the occupant weight sensor and the SRS module for looseness, oxidation and contact resistance
- 3Have a workshop check the communication wires between the module and the occupant weight sensor for short circuits to supply voltage or ground
- 4Have a workshop replace the occupant weight sensor if needed and calibrate it after replacement
- 5Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop check it
