What does this fault code mean?
The airbag control module (SRS) receives no voltage from the seat track position sensor for the passenger seat. This can be caused by an open circuit in the wiring or by poor contact in the connections.
Possible causes
- Open circuit in the wiring
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections
What you can do
- 1Read and note the code, clear it and see whether it comes back
- 2Have a workshop look at the connector joints between the airbag module and the sensor, by eye and for contact resistance and oxidation
- 3Have a workshop check the wire between the control module and the sensor connector for an open circuit
- 4Have a workshop correct the fault after the check
- 5Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out the check and the repair
