What does this fault code mean?
The driver-side belt reel sensor has an internal component fault that the airbag control module (SRS) detects. The fault is in the sensor, so it must be replaced for the fault to clear.
Possible causes
- The driver-side belt reel sensor is damaged
What you can do
- 1Read and note the code, clear it and see whether it comes back
- 2Have a workshop replace the driver-side belt reel sensor and confirm the code does not come back
- 3Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out the replacement
