Possible causes
- Crash signal received and crash information stored
What you can do
- 1Do not clear the code until a workshop has checked which seat belt pretensioners have been triggered
- 2Have a workshop read the crash information and reset the airbag control module once the check is complete
- 3If another crash-related code is also stored, have a workshop troubleshoot that one first
- 4If the workshop finds an internal fault in the control module, it must be replaced; have a workshop do this
- 5On cars built between mid-May and early November 2012, the control module must have the latest software after a side crash sensor has been replaced; have a workshop check this
- 6Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out the checks and the work
Symptoms you may notice2
