What does this fault code mean?
The airbag control module (SRS) has received a signal from the PAE circuit that is outside the normal range or is faulty. The cause may be interference in the communication or a damaged roof console.
Possible causes
- Interference in the communication
- The roof console is damaged
What you can do
- 1Read and note the code, clear it and see whether it comes back
- 2Have a workshop check the wires and connectors between the roof light control unit and the airbag control module for looseness and oxidation
- 3If no fault is found, have a workshop replace the roof light control unit
- 4Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out the check and the replacement
