What does this fault code mean?
The airbag control module (SRS) receives no DC voltage from the passenger airbag switch. The cause may be an open circuit in the wire or poor contact in the connections.
Possible causes
- Open circuit in the wire
- Loose contact, contact resistance or oxidation in the connections
What you can do
- 1Read and note the code, clear it and see whether it comes back
- 2Have a workshop look at the connectors at the module and at the switch, both by eye and for contact resistance and oxidation
- 3Have a workshop check the wire between the connectors for a break
- 4Have a workshop correct the fault after the check
- 5Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out the check and the repair
