What does this fault code mean?
This is an event information code for the roll rate sensor in the supplemental restraint system (SRS). It is set temporarily when the sensor is overloaded, for example by the driving situation or driving behaviour. The code does not mean that the control module is faulty.
Possible causes
- Temporary overload of the sensor, for example due to the driving situation or driving behaviour
- No repairable fault
What you can do
- 1Read out and erase the code with a diagnostic tool; no other action is normally needed
- 2There is no specific fault-tracing procedure for this code, so just see whether it returns after a few drives
- 3Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop check it if the code comes back together with other faults
