What you can do
- 1Read out the fault codes in the car and start with those in the brake control module (BCM)
- 2Have a workshop fault-trace the brake control module (BCM), since it is the transmitting control module
- 3Do not erase the code until the fault in the brake control module has been remedied and its code has been erased
- 4After the repair, switch the ignition off, switch it on again and see whether the code is gone
- 5Do not work on the brake system or the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out all checks
