What does this fault code mean?
Although the code is named private bus circuit, it concerns the configuration of the airbag control module, which does not match the car's equipment. The fault may come from incorrect software in the airbag control module or from an incorrect configuration file for the car.

- Incorrect software in the airbag control module
- The vehicle's configuration file is incorrect
What you can do
- 1Erase the code with a diagnostic tool, start the car and see whether the code returns
- 2Have a workshop check that the car's equipment, for example the passenger weight sensor or the passenger airbag switch, matches the car's configuration
- 3Have a workshop load new software into the airbag control module and, if needed, into the central electronic module (CEM)
- 4Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out all checks and repairs
