What does this fault code mean?
The airbag control module has registered a general signal fault from an internal component. The fault concerns software part number 2 in the module, and it comes from faulty software.
Possible causes
- Faulty software in the airbag control module
What you can do
- 1Erase the code with a diagnostic tool and see whether it returns after the ignition has been off for a while
- 2Have a workshop download new software into the airbag control module
- 3If the fault remains after reprogramming, have a workshop replace the module
- 4Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out all work on the module
