What does this fault code mean?
The airbag control module has registered an internal fault in its calibration or parameter memory. The fault comes from faulty software. If the fault is permanent, new software may be enough; otherwise the module needs replacing.

- Faulty software in the airbag control module
What you can do
- 1Have a workshop download new software into the airbag control module, especially if the fault is permanent
- 2If the fault remains after that, have a workshop replace the module
- 3When replacing, the accelerometer (IMU) must be calibrated, which a workshop does
- 4Erase the code and switch the ignition off for a while to see whether it returns
- 5Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out all work on the module
