What does this fault code mean?
The airbag control module has been blocked after being used in too many collisions. The module has registered an internal fault, and it normally needs to be replaced.
Possible causes
- Damaged airbag control module
- The control module has been used in too many collisions
What you can do
- 1Read out the fault code with a diagnostic tool and note it for the workshop
- 2Have a workshop replace the airbag control module
- 3When replacing, the accelerometer (IMU) must be calibrated, which a workshop does
- 4Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out all work on the module

- The SRS warning light comes on or behaves abnormally
