Possible causes
- Damaged alternator
- Damaged battery
What you can do
- 1Have a workshop check the battery's condition and that its terminals are tight
- 2Have a workshop check the charging function of the alternator, since a faulty one can produce too high a voltage
- 3Have a workshop check the battery voltage and whether the battery is damaged
- 4After the work, switch the ignition off, switch it on again and see whether the code is gone
- 5Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out all wiring and control module checks
