What does this fault code mean?
The subwoofer control module has registered an internal fault in itself. The fault is in the module rather than in the wiring to the speakers. It is noticed as the subwoofer producing no sound at all.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the subwoofer control module
What you can do
- 1Read out and note the code, clear it and test-drive the car with the audio system on to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the fuses for the audio system are intact; the fuse locations are in the owner's manual
- 3If the code returns after clearing, the control module is at fault. Have a workshop replace the subwoofer control module
- 4After the repair, check that the subwoofer plays normally again and that the code does not reappear
