What does this fault code mean?
The supply voltage to several of the suspension sensors is too high. The group consists of the front suspension acceleration sensors, the right rear position sensor and the body acceleration sensors. They share a common supply from the control module, so the fault may be in one sensor or in the control module.
Possible causes
- The supply wire to one of the sensors has contact with positive voltage
- A break in the signal wire running from one of the sensors
- Defective acceleration or position sensor
- Defective control module
What you can do
- 1Read out the fault codes first, and repair and clear any codes for the acceleration or position sensors before you continue
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the signal cables from the sensors are not broken
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the power supply to the sensors has no contact with positive voltage
- 4If the wiring checks out, a sensor or the control module is probably defective. Have a workshop check this
Symptoms you may notice3
- The general warning lamp lights
- Message in the display
- Four-C does not work
What the fault can affect1
- Four-C control is switched off
