What does this fault code mean?
The voltage to the solenoid at the left rear wheel is too low. The fault may lie in the connections, in the supply to the solenoid, or in the solenoid itself. The Four-C function is blocked.
Possible causes
- Contact resistance in the connections
- Ground fault in the supply wire to the solenoid
- Damaged solenoid
What you can do
- 1Check the connectors at the solenoid on the left rear strut for contact resistance or oxidation
- 2Check that the solenoid on the left rear strut is correctly fitted
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the power supply to the solenoid has no contact with ground (the car body)
- 4Check that the suspension system fuses are intact; the owner's manual shows where they are
- 5Have a workshop measure the solenoid's resistance and replace it if it is damaged
Symptoms you may notice3
- The general warning lamp lights
- Message in the display
- Four-C does not work
What the fault can affect1
