What does this fault code mean?
The control module registers that the voltage to the solenoid at the right rear wheel is missing. The cause may be looseness or poor contact, a break in the supply or signal wire, or a damaged solenoid. The Four-C function is blocked.
Possible causes
- Poor contact or loose connection in the connections
- Open circuit in the power supply to the solenoid
- Open circuit in the signal cable
- Damaged solenoid
What you can do
- 1Check the connectors at the solenoid on the right rear strut for looseness or oxidation
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the supply and signal wires to the solenoid at the right rear wheel are not broken
- 3Have a workshop measure the solenoid's resistance
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool, activate the solenoid at the right rear wheel and see whether it responds
- 5Check that the suspension system fuses are intact; the owner's manual shows where they are
- 6If the wiring is intact but the solenoid does not respond, have a workshop replace it
