What does this fault code mean?
The current from the solenoid at the right rear wheel is too low. The fault may be caused by poor contact in the connections, a break in the supply or signal wire, or a defective solenoid. The Four-C function is blocked.
Possible causes
- Contact resistance in the connections
- Open circuit in the power supply wire to the solenoid
- A break, or a ground fault, in the signal cable from the solenoid
- Defective solenoid
What you can do
- 1Check the connectors at the solenoid at the right rear and at the control module for contact resistance or oxidation
- 2Check that the solenoid on the right rear strut is correctly fitted
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the supply and signal wires to the solenoid are not broken or in contact with ground (the car body)
- 4Check that the suspension system fuses are intact; the owner's manual shows where they are
- 5Have a workshop measure the solenoid's resistance and replace it if it is damaged
