What does this fault code mean?
The signal for the SPORT indication in the keypad is too low. The indication is part of the keypad, which sends its signal to the suspension control module. The Four-C function is blocked.
Possible causes
- Poor contact in the connections
- Short to ground in the power supply wire for the indication
- Defective keypad
What you can do
- 1Check the connectors at the keypad for contact resistance and oxidation
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the wire to the SPORT indication in the keypad has no contact with ground (the car body)
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool: read live data for the SPORT indication and see whether the value changes when you change mode
- 4Check that the suspension system fuses are intact; the owner's manual shows where they are
- 5If the wiring is intact, have a workshop replace the keypad
