What does this fault code mean?
The suspension control module has registered a fault that may be caused by poor contact or oxidation in the connectors to the control module or to the Central electronic module (CEM). The fault may also be caused by an internal fault in the control module. The Four-C control is switched off.
Possible causes
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connectors to the suspension control module or the Central electronic module (CEM)
- Internal fault in the control module
What you can do
- 1Check that the connectors to the suspension control module and to the Central electronic module (CEM) are secure and not oxidised
- 2Have a workshop check the voltage to both control modules and the wiring to the CEM
- 3Clear the code and test-drive the car to see whether it returns
- 4Check that the suspension system fuses are intact; the owner's manual shows where they are
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop replace the suspension control module and program it
