What does this fault code mean?
The suspension control module (SUM) has lost its data link to the brake control module (BCM) on the CAN network. The brake control module controls parts of the brake system. Four-C is switched off while the fault remains.

- Communication fault in the CAN network
- Defective suspension control module (SUM)
- Defective brake control module (BCM)
What you can do
- 1Read and clear the fault codes, then road test the car to see whether the fault returns
- 2Do not work on the brake system or its control modules yourself; have a workshop check the brake control module (BCM) and the communication
- 3If it returns: have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the CAN network and both control modules
