What does this fault code mean?
The suspension control module (SUM) has been cut off from the engine control module (ECM), so no signals arrive from it. Four-C is switched off for as long as the fault code remains.
Possible causes
- Communication fault in the CAN network
- Defective suspension control module (SUM)
- Defective engine control module (ECM)
What you can do
- 1Read and clear the fault codes, then road test the car to see whether the code returns
- 2If the code returns: have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the CAN network and the engine control module
