What does this fault code mean?
The suspension control module (SUM) has a built-in switch that can cut the return wires to the damper solenoids as a safeguard. That switch is not working as intended here, so Four-C is switched off.
Possible causes
- The internal isolation switch in the control module is damaged
What you can do
- 1Read the fault code and see whether the fault status still shows a fault after a test drive
- 2If the fault remains after the test drive: have a workshop replace the suspension control module
- 3The new module arrives without software, so the workshop must program and calibrate it after fitting
