What does this fault code mean?
Mode indicator 1 in the Four-C switch receives too low a voltage from the suspension control module (SUM). The cause is either a supply to the indicator that is short-circuited to ground, or a damaged switch. The lamp for that driving mode then does not light.
Possible causes
- Power supply to the mode indicator is short-circuited to ground
- The Four-C function switch is damaged
What you can do
- 1Try the Four-C switch and see whether the indicator for the driving mode lights when you select it
- 2Check that the fuses for the Four-C function are intact, as shown in the owner's manual
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the wire to the mode indicator has no contact with ground (the body), with the ignition switched off
- 4If the fault remains: have a workshop check the switch
Symptoms you may notice1
- The lamp for the selected driving mode in the Four-C switch does not light
