Applies to the following models:

What does this fault code mean?
The SUM has received a faulty or invalid message about the power supply mode from the central electronic module (CEM) over the CAN network. The code is event-driven and is information rather than a fault in the SUM, and it clears by itself when the conditions end.
Possible causes
- Fault in the central electronic module (CEM)
- Fault in the CAN network
What you can do
- 1If you have a diagnostic tool, read the fault codes in the central electronic module (CEM), since the incorrect data comes from there
- 2Deal with any fault codes in the CEM first, then check whether this code is still present
- 3Inspect the connectors and wiring in the CAN network for loose connections, chafing and pinch damage
- 4If the code returns after the CEM fault codes have been dealt with, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment trace the CAN network
Symptoms you may notice2
- A message appears in the information display
- The Four-C function does not work
What the fault can affect1
