What does this fault code mean?
When the SUM starts it reads in basic data from the memory holding its program and data. An internal memory fault during that read sets the code.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the suspension control module (SUM)
What you can do
- 1Read the code, note it and clear it, then road test the car to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the connector at the SUM is firm and clean
- 3Have a workshop with diagnostic equipment decide whether the control module needs replacing; if so, new software is downloaded and the control module is calibrated

- The Four-C function does not work
