What does this fault code mean?
The main program in the SUM runs on a microprocessor, and the SUM monitors its internal functions. The fault code is set when an internal safety fault occurs in the microprocessor.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the suspension control module (SUM)
What you can do
- 1Read and note the code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
- 2This is a safety fault: have a workshop check the control module and do not work on the suspension yourself
- 3If the fault returns, have a workshop replace the control module, download new software and calibrate it
