What does this fault code mean?
The SUM compares the car's configuration information from the CEM with the main calibration data stored in the SUM. The fault code is set when the two do not match, and the Four-C function is switched off.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the suspension control module (SUM)
What you can do
- 1Has anything recently been replaced in the car, such as a control module? Tell the workshop
- 2Read and note the code, clear it and road test to see whether it comes back
- 3If the fault comes back, have a workshop decide whether the control module needs replacing and, if so, download new software and calibrate it
