The steering wheel module (SWM) has registered that the light stalk has been activated for too long. The high beam can then stay on constantly.
Possible causes
- The light stalk has been activated for too long
What you can do
- 1Check that the light stalk is not sticking or stuck in the activated position
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool, read the light stalk status in live data and see that it changes when you use it
- 3If the switch sticks, have a workshop check it and carry out any repair needed
Symptoms you may notice1
- The high beam stays on constantly
