What does this fault code mean?
The steering wheel module (SWM) has recorded that the cruise control Resume and Cancel buttons were pressed at the same time. This is an invalid combination, so cruise control is disabled for the rest of the drive. The fault is intermittent.
Possible causes
- The Resume and Cancel buttons were pressed simultaneously
- A sticking or intermittent button in the steering wheel switch pack
What you can do
- 1Restart the car – cruise control works normally again on the next drive
- 2Clear the code; if it does not return, no action is needed
- 3If it returns without both buttons being pressed, the steering wheel switch pack may need checking or replacing
