What does this fault code mean?
The steering wheel module (SWM) has registered that the cruise control on/off button was activated for too long. Cruise control is then switched off for the rest of the journey and does not work at all. The fault is not marked as intermittent.
Possible causes

What you can do
- 1Read and note the code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the cruise control on/off button does not stick or stay in the pressed position
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool: read the cruise control on/off button in live data and check that it returns to the inactive state when released
- 4If the code does not return, no further action is needed
- 5If the code returns, have a workshop check the cruise control switch and the steering wheel module (SWM)
