Possible causes
- The Volume- switch has been activated for too long
What you can do
- 1Read and note the code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the Volume- switch does not stick or stay in the activated position
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool: check in live data whether any volume button shows as active without being pressed
- 4If the code does not return, no further action is needed
Symptoms you may notice3
- The volume changes by itself without the volume buttons being pressed
- The steering wheel radio controls do not work
