What does this fault code mean?
The fault is permanent and present right now. The steering wheel module (SWM) has registered that several buttons were pressed at the same time, so cruise control and the steering wheel buttons stop working while the fault is active. A workshop needs to find which control unit or wire is responsible.
Possible causes
- Several buttons were activated at the same time
What you can do
- 1Check that the buttons on the steering wheel and on the cruise control do not stick in the pressed position
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool: compare the button status in live data with the state when no button is pressed
- 3Since the fault is present, have a workshop check the switch units and the wiring between them
Symptoms you may notice2
