What does this fault code mean?
A communication error between the control stalk and the left-side wheel buttons has been logged by the steering wheel module (SWM). Cruise control then does not work at all and stays switched off for the rest of the journey.
Possible causes
- Communication error between the stalk and the left-side wheel buttons
What you can do
- 1Check that the buttons on the wheel and the control stalk do not stick in the activated position
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool: read the status of the control stalk and the left buttons in live data and check that both update when used
- 3If the code does not return, no further action is needed
- 4If the code returns, have a workshop check the cable and connectors between the control stalk and the left steering wheel buttons
Symptoms you may notice1
