What does this fault code mean?
The steering wheel module (SWM) logged the cruise control button held down for too long, which causes a start-up fault in the cruise control. Cruise control then does not work at all.
Possible causes
- Start-up fault in the cruise control
What you can do
- 1Check that the cruise control button does not stick or stay in the pressed position
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool: read the cruise control button in live data and check that it shows inactive when not pressed
- 3Read and note the code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
- 4If the code returns, have a workshop check the cruise control initialization and the steering wheel module (SWM)
Symptoms you may notice1
- Cruise control does not work at all
