What does this fault code mean?
The steering wheel module (SWM) has registered that the car has a trip computer, but the menu selector and reset button for it are missing. The cause is an incorrect control stalk fitted on the left-hand side, so those buttons are not present.
Possible causes
- Incorrect control stalk fitted on the left-hand side
What you can do
- 1If the control stalk has been replaced or refitted recently, check that it is the correct one for this car
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool: read the control stalk buttons in live data and check whether they respond when pressed
- 3Have a workshop check that the correct control stalk is fitted on the correct side
