What does this fault code mean?
The control module has detected an incorrect current reading in the circuit of the SLT solenoid. The solenoid then cannot regulate the system pressure in the gearbox, which affects the lock-up function and gear changes.
Possible causes
- Contact resistance in the connectors
- Open circuit in the control signal or signal ground wire
- Linear pressure solenoid SLT stuck
- Linear pressure solenoid SLT does not work
What you can do
- 1Read and clear the fault code, road test and see whether it returns
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool: read the SLT solenoid status in live data during a road test and see whether it switches between its states
- 3Check the wiring and connectors from the gearbox for chafing and loose connections
- 4If the value does not change, the solenoid is probably stuck or defective and a workshop should check it
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check the gearbox control system

- The general warning lamp is lit
- The malfunction indicator lamp is lit
- The lock-up function does not work
- Gear changes become harsh
