What does this fault code mean?
The control module has found that gear changes follow each other too quickly. The cause may be a mechanical or hydraulic fault in the gearbox, which shows as vibration, jerking or harsh gear changes.
Possible causes
- Mechanical fault in the gearbox
- Hydraulic fault in the gearbox
What you can do
- 1If the car has other fault codes for the gearbox, such as TCM-0100, deal with those first, as one of them may have caused this code
- 2Have a workshop check the gearbox and control module connectors for contact resistance and oxidation
- 3Have a workshop calibrate the gear shift position sensor in the gearbox
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop decide whether the control system needs replacing
- 5After the repair, a workshop should reset the adaptation and the fluid quality counter
