What does this fault code mean?

One of the transmission's three power stages, power stage 2, is shorted to supply voltage. The power stage controls the solenoids CSMS1, CSPS1 and CCFS in the transmission. The fault is caused by a damaged power stage or a damaged control module.

What you can do

1Read the fault codes. TCM-0532 usually appears together with TCM-02A0, so fix TCM-02A0 first. If it is not present, continue with this one
2Clear the fault code and drive the car to see whether TCM-0532 returns
3Have a workshop check the solenoids CSMS1, CSPS1 and CCFS and their wiring with diagnostic equipment
4If the fault remains after TCM-02A0 has been fixed, the transmission control module needs replacing. This is a job for a workshop
