What does this fault code mean?
Hydraulic pressure is missing on both clutches in the transmission. If solenoid CCFS jams in the closed position, the safety valve CPCUT closes, so the clutches receive no pressure. The cause is a damaged solenoid or a damaged safety valve.
Possible causes
- Damaged solenoid
- Damaged safety valve
What you can do
- 1Read the fault codes, clear TCM-0565 and drive the car to see whether it comes back
- 2Have a workshop open the transmission control system and check solenoid CCFS and safety valve CPCUT
- 3Have a workshop check the transmission oil level
- 4If the fault cannot be found or fixed, a workshop must replace the mechatronic unit
Symptoms you may notice5
- Malfunction Indicator Light (check engine) lit or behaving abnormally
- Yellow warning symbol and text message in the display
- Shifts hard or jerky
- Gear changes take too long to complete
- No forward or reverse movement with a gear selected
What the fault can affect1
- The clutches receive no hydraulic pressure, so the transmission cannot engage gears in the normal way
