What does this fault code mean?
Hydraulic pressure on clutch 2 (even gears) reads higher than requested. The cause is either a damaged output stage for solenoid CSPS1 or a damaged pressure sensor.
Possible causes
- Damaged output stage, solenoid CSPS1
- Damaged pressure sensor
What you can do
- 1Read the fault codes, clear TCM-05B4 and drive the car to see whether it comes back
- 2Have a workshop read the pressure sensor and output stage with diagnostic equipment
- 3Have a workshop open the transmission control system and check the solenoids and oil level. Replace the mechatronic unit if the fault cannot be fixed
Symptoms you may notice5
- Yellow warning symbol and text message in the display
- Shifts hard or jerky
- Gear changes take too long to complete
- Shifts too early, too late or too often
- No automatic gear changes
General guidance for car owners. Diagnosis on the car can point to a different cause.
