What does this fault code mean?
The transmission control module has registered that the checksum does not match the calculated one after the information has been saved. The fault may lie in the module's software or be damage to the module itself. A warning lamp may come on and the car will not move forwards or backwards in gear.

- Damaged transmission control module
What you can do
- 1Read the fault code and check whether it is still present after a road test
- 2Have a workshop reload the transmission software, as the fault may lie in the software
- 3Have a workshop replace the transmission control module or the mechatronic unit if the fault remains after the reload; a new module must be programmed
- 4Do not work on the gearbox yourself; have a workshop carry out the repair

- The car does not move forwards or backwards in gear
