What does this fault code mean?
The control module has received a wrong value back when it read its own working memory (RAM) after writing information to it. The fault lies in the module, and it can cause missed or harsh gear changes, and the adaptation gets reset.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the transmission control module
What you can do
- 1Clear the fault code and road test the car to see whether it comes back
- 2Have a workshop reload the transmission software from the software manager, as the fault may be an internal software fault
- 3Have a workshop replace the transmission control module if the fault remains; a new module must be programmed before it works

- Missed gear changes
- Harsh gear changes
- The lock-up function does not work
- Yellow warning symbol and text message in the display
- The malfunction indicator (Check engine) lamp comes on or behaves abnormally

- The control module uses a default value for the adaptation

- The control module switches to an emergency program
