What does this fault code mean?
This is an event-driven information code, and it does not point to a fault in the transmission control module where it is active. It shows that the module has been reset involuntarily, and a checksum is used to make sure the information in the module is sound.
Possible causes
- Faulty software in the transmission control module
- Internal fault in the transmission control module
What you can do
- 1This is an information code; if it does not come back, no action is needed
- 2If it comes back, have a workshop reload the transmission software from the software manager, since faulty software may be the cause
Symptoms you may notice1
- No noticeable symptoms for the driver
