What does this fault code mean?
The voltage from one of the transmission's three driver stages, which control the gearbox solenoids, is too low. The cause may be a damaged driver stage or a damaged control module. The other two driver stages can take over, but the function may then be limited.

- Damaged transmission control module
What you can do
- 1Read the fault code, clear it and road test the car to see whether it comes back
- 2Check whether the central electronic control module (CEM) has fault codes, since they can show that the supply voltage to the transmission module is too low
- 3Check the wires and connectors between the transmission control module and the CEM for oxidation and loose contacts
- 4Have a workshop road test the car with gear changes and replace the mechatronic unit if the fault remains

- The malfunction indicator (Check engine) lamp comes on or behaves abnormally
- Yellow warning symbol and text message in the display
- The automatic gearbox shifts harshly or jerkily
- No automatic shifting
- The car does not move forwards or backwards in gear
