What does this fault code mean?
One of the three driver stages in the transmission control module, the one that controls the solenoids through driver stage 1, is shorted to supply voltage. This may be a damaged driver stage or a damaged control module. The code often appears together with TCM-P060A00.

- Damaged driver stage in the transmission control module
- Damaged transmission control module
What you can do
- 1If fault code TCM-P060A00 is present, troubleshoot it first, as the root fault most likely lies there; if it is not present, continue with this one
- 2Clear the fault code and road test the car to see whether it comes back
- 3Have a workshop replace the mechatronic unit, as troubleshooting shows that it must be replaced
- 4Check with diagnostic equipment that the fault status has cleared after the repair
