What does this fault code mean?
The signal from the oil temperature sensor in the gearbox lies outside a predefined value, meaning too low or too high. The code is also set when fault code TCM-0041 is stored. The cause is a damaged sensor.

What you can do
- 1If you have diagnostic equipment, read the gearbox's two oil temperature sensors when the car has been standing cold and compare them with room temperature
- 2Road test the car with a few gear changes and read the oil temperature again; both sensor values should rise by roughly the same amount
- 3Clear the fault code and road test the car to see whether it comes back
- 4Have a workshop read the extended fault code information and decide whether the sensor or the control module needs replacing
