What does this fault code mean?
Although the code is named inside or outside tolerance, it applies to a high signal from the input speed sensor that shows an unreasonably high speed. Gear changes may then not happen, since the control module cannot rely on the speed value.

- Input speed sensor not working
What you can do
- 1Read all stored codes: if the other speed sensors also have codes, the fault may lie in the control module that powers them
- 2Clear the code and road test the car to see whether it returns
- 3Have a workshop check the sensor and its connector, since the sensor sits inside the transmission
- 4If the fault is in the control module, it must be replaced, and the new module must be programmed by a workshop
