What does this fault code mean?
The speed produced by the transmission output shaft speed sensor does not match the brake control module (BCM) speed signal, although the two should be roughly the same. The fault relates to transmission components: either an incorrect final drive is fitted, or a transmission that is not intended for the car has been installed.

- Incorrect final drive fitted
- Incorrect transmission fitted, one that is not intended for the car
What you can do
- 1First read all codes: if the transmission control module has any other code, deal with it first, since it may be the root fault
- 2Has anything recently been done to the transmission or final drive? If so, a workshop should check that the correct final drive and transmission are fitted
- 3Have a workshop replace the final drive or transmission with the correct one if needed, then clear the code and road test
